Course Overview
Math 105 – Intermediate Algebra is a four-credit course designed to provide students with a comprehensive foundation in intermediate algebra. The course covers essential algebraic concepts and prepares students for further study in mathematics and related fields.
Course Content and Structure
Delivery: Face-to-face instruction, three times per week.
Materials: Access to MyLabMath is required for homework and reviews. Students must provide their own calculator for quizzes and tests.
Assessment: Nightly homework, chapter quizzes, and unit tests. No traditional comprehensive final exam.

Upon successful completion of Math 105, students will be able to:

Graph and interpret exponential and logarithmic functions.
Solve applied problems using appropriate algebraic techniques.

Course Policies
Collaboration is allowed on homework and review assignments, but quizzes and tests must be completed individually.
Scientific or graphing calculators are permitted during quizzes and tests.
All work for a unit is due at the start of class on the day of the unit test.
Students must sign up for MyLabMath by the first class or risk being dropped.
