Membership and Elections

Requirements for Membership

Members must meet academic and participation standards to remain in good standing.

  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75

  • Full-time student status in good standing at the university

  • Fewer than 5 quarters or 4 semesters, including pledging period, at the university

  • Intent to pursue a career in a health-related field

Elections and Nominations

  • Elections held during winter quarter/semester of every academic year, four weeks prior to the end of the academic term

  • Nominations for officer and committee chair positions held one week prior to elections

  • Any active member in good standing may make nominations

Fines and Penalties

Members may be fined for unexcused absences and unmet requirements.

Relationships with PNMs (Potential New Members)

  • Voicing opinions based on personal interests or impressions unrelated to rules is not allowed

  • Sisters must report relationships with PNMs that are closer than acquaintances to the Standards Board

Event Policies

  • All official Rho Psi Eta events are dry (no alcohol permitted)

  • Elections for Delta Chapter take place in March of the semester prior to officially taking office
